Top Rated Aberdeen Restaurants

Rustico

This trattoria is in the style of the 1950’s and has cosy alcoves and the walls lined with pictures of the coastline of Sicily. All that Mediterranean charm and warmth is complemented by friendly and welcoming staff serving linguine, spaghetti, lasagne, cannelloni, and more.

Café Boheme

Hiding down a side street in the city centre is a little bit of French Provence. Dominique and his family have been creating traditional French cuisine from locally sourced foods in season for more than 30 years. Try the duck confit with black pudding dauphin potatoes or venison saddle with red cabbage.

Nargile Mezeriye

The only Turkish restaurant in Aberdeen, Nargile Mezeriye caters for any size party with up to 22 tables. No fewer than 15 starters such as vine leaves stuffed with pine nuts or chargrilled goat’s cheese, followed by a huge choice of mains and plenty of vegetarian dishes too.

Yatai Izakaya

Oh yes! If you like Japanese food, then Yatai Izakaya is for you! It’s a small local restaurant with an intimate atmosphere serving modern Japanese dishes but using the traditional skills of years past. Everything is sourced locally in Aberdeenshire, so you know you are getting the best.

Bistro Verde

Down in the merchant quarter of the city on The Green you will find Bistro Verde – verde being Italian for “green”. This super little seafood restaurant serves Scottish seafood salad, Thai seafood curry, pan-fried seabass with sweet potato with chargrilled vegetables and a caper and lemon sauce. Delicious!
